Verizon debuts Mobile Web Games and Apps Store

Verizon Wireless announced the launch of the Mobile Web Games and Apps Store, promising subscribers more efficient access to games and apps. According to Verizon, the free, click-through service enables consumers on both WAP and HTML handsets to access hundreds of software downloads, arranged via an easy-to-navigate menu; customers may preview, sample and purchase titles like Tetris and Guitar Hero World Tour alongside productivity tools, navigation apps and so forth. Verizon adds that Mobile Web Games and Apps Store also features a keyword search.
