Verizon teams with Univision for World Cup coverage

LAS VEGAS--Verizon Wireless announced an agreement with Univision Interactive Media to offer live streaming Spanish-language coverage of this summer's 2010 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament, kicking off in South Africa on June 11. Univision's Copa Mundial de la FIFA Sur Africa 2010 coverage will be available to Verizon V Cast Video subscribers throughout the event, beginning with a pre-tournament package including past World Cup highlights and interviews as well as ringtones, wallpapers and music; from there, the service expands to live match broadcasts and highlights.
