WiMAX Forum launches interoperability testing with Clearwire help

The WiMAX Forum launched its Interoperability Testing (IOT) Certification program that will leverage Clearwire's commercial WiMAX network experience to ensure interoperability in the 2.5 GHz band. The move makes sense given the fact Clearwire owns most of the 2.5 GHz spectrum in the U.S. In addition to contributing its technical expertise, Clearwire will share its extensive commercial network test cases to the WiMAX Forum.
