I think AT&T aka Cingular is and was managing from 3 to 5 networks in any given market at the same time over the past 8 years: Amps (multiple thru mergers and acquititions), TDMA (multiple thru mergers and acquititions), GSM (multiple thru mergers and acquititions), and UMTS. What's all the fuss about. Sounds like LTE will be another Stimulus pillar for Obama.
