Telekom Slovenia is expanding its broadband offering by deploying a nationwide WIMAX network using its 42MHz of spectrum allocation in the 3.5GHz frequency band. Equipment for the new network is being provided by Iskratel in collaboration with WiMAX specialists Telsima Corporation. The Iskratel SI3000 WiMAX solution with integrated Telsima WiMAX technologies will be used in the Telekom Slovenia network.
