Telekom Slovenije has installed Telecordia's NGOSS solution to help support its upgraded IT operations systems.
The Slovenian fixed-line operator has enhanced the operations systems covering its entire service portfolio including - xDSL, FTTx, Ethernet and VPN services – in a transformation project named as a finalist at the TM Forum 2010 Excellence Awards.
Telekom Slovenjie said the transformation has resulted in 90% automation of service design across its network, a 30% reduction in order-to-cash time for residential and business services and a 15% reduction in OPEX maintenance costs.
The upgraded operations systems are backed by Telecordia's Network Engineer and Granite Inventory OSS products.
