Position Description
Job Purpose:
The Product Marketing Manager will be an integral member of the Americas marketing team to assist in promoting products to the marketplace through the creation and delivery of product positioning materials, marketing programs, sales tools, collateral and training activities. Also in scope for this position is pricing analysis, governance, and development, as well as regional revenue and margin management. The product marketing manager will work closely with development and the sales organization during the new product launch phase to help achieve early launch success.
Principal Responsibilities:
– Prepare marketing and business requirements, strategies, and programs for a product, product line, or segment.
– Conduct pricing analysis and approvals; develop pricing for existing and new products, and promotions.
– Plan and manage product launch cycles.
– Develop effective collateral for products, product lines, and regional markets.
– Develop and manage outbound communication related to mBlox products and commercials.
– Perform competitive analysis and propose competitive positioning.
– Evaluate market performance to help develop and update company goals and objectives.
– Collaborate with sales to win and retain major accounts and to communicate product and market updates.
– Develop and communicate a solid knowledge of key US clients’ business; develop segmentation and segment specific market strategies
– Recommend product enhancements and priorities based on market research, industry-specific requirements and new trends.
Qualifications and Education: Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred
