Position Description
The Role
As Product Manager you will play a key part in the Solutions Team within the Business Services’ Product Directorate and wider Business Services organisation.
The Solutions Products area is responsible for managing the advanced and complex products that work on top of core infrastructure. You will own a subset of the Solutions product portfolio and be responsible for its performance. Your remit is to be responsible for the in life commercial performance of our business location based service portfolio; to identify new market opportunities and product requirements, to work with third party vendors and to drive the in life product performance.
This opportunity offers an individual the chance to own the responsibility for taking our client into a new exciting area whose growth continues to support companie’s drive for market leadership.
This is a Maternity Cover role.
Must Haves
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
• A proven track record in product management or marketing roles within IT or mobile market
• Highly numerate and articulate with strong commercial acumen – confident in presenting strategy and plans at board level
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills to be deployed at all levels of the organisation
Nice to Haves
It would be great if you could also display:
• Business/marketing degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience of working in the B2B market, supporting sales and customer queries
• International experience or knowledge.
The Department
The Solutions Product team is part of the Product Directorate within the Business Services organisation and is responsible for defining and managing Business Solutions product portfolio: location based services, field force and sales automation and contactless services.
