Senior Java Developer - Bullroarer, Inc.

Position Description

Bullroarer is a Mobile Technology company specialising in Mobile Storefront Enablement with offices in Sydney, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London & Bangkok

We are looking for a self-reliant and talented J2EE developer to play a lead role in establishing our technology delivery team in Los Angeles.

This is a dynamic, pro active role within a fast moving business in the most exciting industry of the decade – mobile content. The role will report directly to our CTO in Sydney, Australia.

The successful candidate will welcome technical challenges, and will have a minimum of 3-4 years experience delivering Web based J2EE applications. An expert knowledge of J2EE is essential including: Eclipse, Apache web server and Apache open source tools, Tomcat, Hibernate, Servlets, Struts, XML/XSL, HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS as well as a sound understanding of OOA & D, design patterns.

A good understanding SQL and experience with database design and administration is important.

Some experience in Linux System Administration is important.

Over the next 6 months we will be building out our US based team. This is a ground floor opportunity to become a founding member of our US tech team.
