Key Account Manager UK & Ireland – Mobile Games


Salary: circa 40/50k basic, 60k OTE GBP

Our client is the mobile division of the creator of video games legends PAC-MAN, Ridge Racer, Tekken, Soul Calibur, Ace Combat and Time Crisis is hiring! As part of their ongoing expansion, they urgently require a dynamic and commercially minded Mobile Games Account Manager for the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for driving continued sales growth of mobile games business in the region, and ensuring that their proposition is optimised for our client’s customers in this important territory.

As a candidate, you will be a great communicator, and will likely already have a great relationship with their customers in the region, which includes mobile network operators and other distribution partners in the UK and Ireland.

Your key tasks will include:

• Maximise revenue generated from existing and new accounts through a proactive, creative and entrepreneurial approach to your work.
• Develop and manage new channels, initiatives and marketing opportunities to grow sales and profitability in the region.
• Work closely with key internal & external stakeholders to deliver and communicate effectively the best strategy for existing and new channel development.
• Provide regular analysis, reporting and forecasting of our client’s market & portal position, and propose initiatives for improvement. Monitor the industry closely for market intelligence and internal research.
• Ensure that asset requirements are effectively communicated, and delivered assets exceed customer quality standards.
• Advise on portfolio strategy and local license acquisition to ensure that the portfolio properly reflects consumer and customer trends and requirements.
Candidate Profile:

• In-depth knowledge and experience of the mobile operator and content sector, ideally mobile games.
• Proven track record at lead generation, sales and after sales care.
• Enthusiastic, highly commercial and creative with excellent presentation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels. Able to influence decision-makers.
• Excellent team player – capable of giving 360 º feedbacks in a concise and constructive manner.
• Languages skills will include German (native level), English fluent (business level), plus one or more other European languages would be advantageous.
• Passion for gaming across all platforms is desirable.

• A creative thinker, able to devise and negotiate promotions and deals that are attractive to our client’s partners, thereby increasing sales of the mobile gaming portfolio

• Candidates of particular interest will be those that can demonstrate a thorough understanding of the dynamics of the mobile gaming marketplace and can propose and undertake a course of action that will allow our client to outperform the competition (for Agency: the candidate will be asked to demonstrate his/her experience with accurate examples)
