Purpose of Job:
Working within the finance team, this role is to ensure the integrity of the billing and other critical systems and to assist with other revenue assurance procedures and analysis
Principal Accountabilities (responsibilities and duties):
• Ensure the integrity of the inputs to and outputs from the company’s billing system
• Maintaining that the shortcode database is up to date and accurate
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the company’s revenue and costs
• Dealing with internal and external enquiries
• Ad hoc finance projects
Key Performance Indicators:
• Invoices prepared in a timely and accurate manner
• Customer queries dealt with professionally and courteously
• The shortcode database always being up to date and 100% accurate
• Demonstration of an understanding of the business and how it operates
• Able to develop and maximise and efficiently run the company’s shortcode database system to maximise business profitability
• Using initiative and ability to work independently
Decision Making Authority:
• Resolution of issues and queries within agreed frameworks
• Issue escalation as required
• Development of recommendations for process and systems improvement

Experience, Qualifications and Technical Knowledge:
• Degree level in a numerate subject or equivalent
• Must be able to demonstrate high level of numeracy
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Ability to use logic and reasoning in problem solving
• Good customer relationships
• Commercial experience would be a distinct advantage
• Methodical and systematic – able to see job through to completion
• Accuracy – right first time abilities
• Proven analytical abilities
