Purpose of Job:
Working as part of Regional Development Team, responsible for designing and developing websites for mobile applications, clients and internal use
Principal Accountabilities (responsibilities and duties):
• Design and development of efficient, high capacity, dynamic applications
• Design and development of B2B products and services
• Development of enhancements and maintenance to existing products and services
• Development work, including design, documentation, coding and testing of services
• Reporting to Team Leader
• Working to procedures as specified in the Group Development First Time Policy
Key Performance Indicators:
• Design and development of applications to agreed specifications and within agreed timeframes
• All designs to be documented, coded and tested prior to release
• Meeting project requirements and objectives within specified timescales
• Able to deliver the highest quality product on a right first time basis
• 100% adherance to Group Development First Time Policy
Decision Making Authority:
• Component design and structure within the group architectural framework
• Escalation of issues to team leader as necessary
Experience, Qualifications and Technical Knowledge:
• Software development experience gained within a commercial environment
• Relevant coding languages for role, PHP (web scripting), MYSQL, RDBMS, XML, SOAP, HTTP Services
• Development experience gained within Microsoft environment (min 3 yrs)
