Position Description
Reporting to:Group Operations Manager
Location: Home Counties, Bucks
Salary: 50K
Purpose of Job:
Working as part of the Project Management Team, this is a key technical bridging role between sales and development. You will work closely with the sales teams and enterprise customers and network operators to accurately specify development projects, and ensure successful end to end project delivery to customers’ expectations.
Principal Accountabilities (responsibilities and duties):
• Interpretation, analysis and translation of customers’ business requirements into credible technical specifications
• Provide advice, guidance on feasibility, design and implementation of solutions
• Working closely with sales, operations and development teams to gain their trust and ensure effective intra-team communication
• Manage the scoping, pricing and the successful delivery of projects for internal needs and external customers
• Liaise with customer and all internal departments to ensure effective technical design, on both customer site and our client’s offices
• Understand customers’ technical requirements
• Manage project changes, risks and issues directly and supporting the project management team
• Produce regular project reports as required
• Produce with sales and development the customer specification documents and response to tender documents
• Ensure timely escalation of project issues to the appropriate people
• Identify improvements in the scoping, pricing and delivery processes to reduce the cost and time of specifying and delivering projects
• Assist sales in building strong, trusted client relationships with customers
• Work to improve value add of pre-sales and project management

• Projects delivered on time and on budget to customer expectation
• Timely escalation to management on project issues
• Customer satisfaction with project management
• Increased sales with customers overall
Decision Making Authority:
• Customer facing and scoping responsibility
• Matrix management of resources assigned to project
Experience, Qualifications and Technical Knowledge:
• Proven knowledge and abilities in software development gained within a mobile/content environment
• Strong customer facing abilities
• Excellent track record in delivery of solutions to customer
• Excellent communication skills, including written and presentation
• Project management or team management experience desired
• Experience of working with hosted services or mobile technology
• Project, Excel skills
