Salary – £60k plus OTE £35k
Our Client is a global provider of music applications, content and services. Their core product enables consumers to identify and instantly purchase songs using their mobile phones in over 40 countries. The company’s broader portfolio helps consumers experience music through finding a song they like, being able to purchase it in a variety of formats and then interacting with others via community tools. All of this is seamlessly offered through a range of applications across mobile and web devices.
With strong growth in the OEM and Carrier sectors, our client is now looking to expand solutions in the media sector and build other distribution alliances with key partners.
Core job description
Develop new business in the media sector and build key distribution alliances with strategic partners.
This senior role will be located in London, but operate globally.
Primary Objectives
• Developing key alliances and partnerships with leading industry players to maximize awareness and adoption of our client’s services
• Understand objectives of prospective partner’s businesses and identify how our client can support achievement of these.
• Identify Executive sponsors and position our client proposition as strategic to the partner’s business.
• Identify and develop new sources of revenues from initial business development to ongoing account management.
• Developing sales pipeline building relationships at Executive Management and Operational levels.
• Prepare proposals, working with the technical, legal and finance teams
• Close contracts to consistently meet specified targets
Detailed Responsibilities
• Performance
o meet sales and contribution targets consistently

o provide sales information to partners
o reply to RFI/RFPs
o make cold calls
• Sales Discussions
o visit qualified leads
o supply marketing and sales information
o prepare proposals
o prepare and justify business cases
• Negotiations
o present / negotiate directly with partners
o prepare term sheet/conditions
o close contracts
• Implementation
o prepare high-level implementation plan
o working in conjunction with Technical team oversee implementation
• Pre and post-launch Support
o develop account plans
o propose new products
o provide feed back to partner on usage and service quality
o plan/conduct partner events
o visit partners
Skills and Experience Required
• Strategic thinker with ability to ascertain and understand corporate objectives for a variety of enterprises
• Exceptional sales and negotiation skills with proven ability to sell solutions
• Strong project manager, able to co-ordinate activities of multiple teams both internally and within the customer.
• Knowledge and experience of the mobile and media industry
• Experience of working in a virtual team across time zones
• Ideal candidate will have experience in top tier consultancy
• MBA qualified from leading business school
• Based in London, working primarily from the Kensington office.
• Experience of working multiple international territories
• Fluent in English, and ideally one other language
