We are currently seeking a dynamic, high-energy Land Lease Accounting Analyst to join our Leasing Operations team in Woburn, MA.
Summary:
The Land Lease Accounting Analyst is responsible for analyzing and reviewing a high volume of landlord and managed site owner payment histories and corresponding lease agreements to reconcile payment related issues, such as missed payments and underpayments/overpayments in a timely manner. The analyst will frequently communicate with landlords and internal staff via verbal and written correspondence. The Analyst will negotiate settlements with landlords and managed site owners on payment disputes. Responsibilities also include financial statement analysis, financial audits, as well as review of tenant collections and billings related to calculating manual payments for monthly revenue share obligations. The Analyst will also administer the inventory and invoice process for annual payments under contracts with the US Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and US Forest Service (USFS), and will calculate and apply rent increases (based on CPI, % or fixed dollar amount), as required. The Analyst is also responsible for reimbursing property taxes to landlords, as applicable, and for conducting the monthly internal control process.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 1 to 3 years relevant work experience preferred (field of accounting or finance preferred).
