Our client is an independent, ideas-led agency that exists to help its clients lead in the digital age. Their team works globally because their clients do and they have offices in the USA, Europe and Asia.
There are 2 roles available:
Full time position 35-55K depending on experience
Freelancer position £200 a day, contract based
About the role:
You will be working within the mobile team who create digital products, services and content for the mobile platform. Our client helps the industry people to realize the power and potential of the mobile platform in order to connect to the consumers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with Art Directors and creative colleagues to conceptualize and execute mobile designs that will advance the client’s business, marketing, or branding objectives.
• Will have specific best practice design conventions for mobile devices
• Refresh/update existing designs, working within existing mobile templates and conventions.
• Provide visual QA comments to Senior Designer through out the duration of the project.
• Help to ensure Xhtml pages match design specifications.
• Aware of mobile best practices.

REQUIREMENTS and SKILLS
A command of mobile typography, colour, composition, hierarchy, user journeys, interface design, interactive design, interactive marketing, and an understanding of how these elements work together for a design solution.
• Work with design templates to create and maintain a scalable and consistent mobile internet site.
• Consistently adhere to team processes and standards; contribute ideas for improvement.
• Work quickly and efficiently without sacrificing a consistently high level of attention to detail.
• Understand the end users requirements, and has an understanding of user-centered design and navigation structures.
• Edit own work, to show best efforts.
• Knowledge of the constraints of mobile web site design.
