Position Description

Would you like to shape AT&T’s wireless developer program, strategy and direction? Then we may have the right challenge for you. The Consumer Data team is looking for a world-class marketer to drive the developer community to create wireless applications for the AT&T network. You can play a major role in the future success of the consumer business team by providing the dev community with the right tools and resources to enable them to create and deploy their applications.

In this high energy, cross functional role you will own the overall management of AT&T’s consumer developer program. The program delivers leading edge developer toolkits, resources, as well as creative marketing programs targeted to meet the needs of the consumer developer community.

Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies and programs to drive the wireless application creation for the AT&T network.
• Contribute to the creation of effective cross functional teams across AT&T to drive alignment and execute on the developer program plans.
• Collaborate with and manage internal AT&T teams to deliver the tools, resources and training for developers to drive developer activities.
• Build and maintain a strong relationship and regular communications with the wireless developer community to drive developer participation via the devCentral website, monthly newsletter and webcasts.
• Build and maintain a strong relationship and regular communications with consumer data offer teams and stakeholders in relation to their business goals & priorities, and track progress.

Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of clear strategic thinking and planning, data-driven decisions, creativity and communication skills, and the ability to motivate members across a virtual team and deliver results. He/she should have persuasive presentation skills, be able to identify market-moving levers and how to move them, and clearly prioritize multiple, concurrent tasks and drive them to completion.
• 7 years of product marketing and/or product management, or equivalent experience is required.
• Prior experience in a GTM campaign or Product Launch, including the development of messaging, value propositions, and marketing programs.
• Knowledge and/or experience with wireless developer programs is a plus.
• Demonstrated self starter with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively to senior level management
• Excellent cross-group collaborative skills are needed because of the often-intensive negotiation & consensus-building involved in performing the job duties.
• Strong knowledge of wireless devices, wireless networks, and software industry as well as consumer segments and key wireless trends.
• Education: Bachelor degree, MBA preferred.
