Position Description
Technical Product Manager, DC Area
In immediate need of a Technical Product Manager for a leading provider of solutions that improve connectivity and productivity and make wireless inside possible.
Responsibilities:
• Identification of customer requirements and major market trends.
• Create product roadmaps
• Sales support including presentation development
• Competitive analysis of existing and potential competitors
• Business case definition, development, and management.
• Generation of technical content for web site, brochures and white papers
• Strategic planning of new products
Skills:
• 5+ years Product Management experience
• 5+ years wireless networking experience.
• Thorough understanding of wireless data, Wi-Fi, GSM/UMTS/EDGE, CDMA, EVDO, LTE, RF propagation and link budget analysis
• Comprehensive knowledge of IP, VoIP & Location Based Services (LBS) technology
• Experience with in-building solutions preferred
• Experience in high volume consumer grade equipment
• Knowledge of R&D, Sales, System Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing.
• Product life cycle management, experience in writing of technical requirements documentations.
• White paper analysis and preparation experience.
• Good presentation skills are a must.
• Experience in Hardware or Software Engineering a plus.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Education:
• BSEE/BSCS, MBA a plus
Compensation:
• $100K to $115K base, yearly bonus, stock options, health benefits, 401(k).
