Associate Principal – OSS and BSS
Position
Ericsson’s Business consulting practice has an open position for an Associate Principal. This position will work with customers primarily in the areas of OSS and BSS.
Position Description:
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Continue the development and expansion of our North American consulting practice with customers in the areas of OSS and BSS.
Lead and manage consulting teams in the sales and delivery of OSS and BSS engagements.
Develop and cultivate relationships with customers at the senior levels
Work with Ericsson Account Managers to help set strategic OSS/BSS account direction, develop approaches for leveraging our OSS/BSS consulting capabilities into customer accounts, and sell OSS/BSS consulting engagements.
Contribute locally and globally to the overall practice in competence development, establishment of methodologies, best practices, and approaches in the OSS/BSS area.

The candidate should have a good understanding of OSS and BSS Telecom processes, software and deployment experience. Candidate should also be able to translate the customer’s business, functional and operational processes requirements into system solutions.

Experience:
Candidates must have demonstrated experience and competency in the following areas:
MBA highly desired
5-7 years working for a Telecom provider (fixed, mobile or cable) with a leading Consultancy or Systems Integrator in a consulting capacity.
5-7 year working with telecom OSS/BSS processes, systems, and operations
Experience in Managing OSS/BSS RFP’s
Experience with market leading OSS/BSS products
Ability to work with both OSS/BSS technical and business experts
Experience with OSS/BSS industry standard process maps such as eTOM and ITIL
Experience in working with clients to identifying and define OSS/BSS business, technical, and functional requirements.
Experienced in managing OSS/BSS projects that have both a technical and process components
Candidates must have strong writing skills and experience presenting findings and deliverables to senior management
Other:
Self-starter and ability to work with minimal direction
Ability to travel between 30-50% of the time, including some International travel
