Senior Consultant - RF Expert - Award Solutions, Inc.

Position Description

Award Solutions’ mission is to help clients improve the performance of their people, products, and networks. We are the leading independent provider of knowledge services to the North American wireless industry and we are rapidly expanding into Europe and Asia.

We have an immediate need for a Senior Consultant to develop and deliver new solutions for our clients. In this role you will have a chance to learn leading edge wireless technologies as you develop new solutions and then work with the top players in the wireless industry as you deliver these training and consulting solutions. The ideal candidate will be an expert in RF design or performance for at least one 3G technology, will have the ability and desire to learn new things quickly, and have a passion for helping individuals and organizations through technology transitions. Previous training experience is not required. You will work with an elite team of industry veterans in a world class organization and will be recognized as an expert in your field.

Responsibilities:

• Training
o Become a true expert on new topics in preparation for delivering training solutions
o Deliver industry leading technology training classes at client facilities, in public forums, and online
• Research
o Research new technologies to anticipate the need for new services and ensure portfolio remains current
o Stay abreast of market developments and ensure that we and our clients are prepared
• Consulting
o Work with clients to integrate new technologies into their products, networks, and processes
• Courseware Development
o Develop best-in-class training solutions to address new opportunities and prepare clients for technology transitions
o Enhance existing courses to adapt to changing industry developments and client needs
o Customize course material to create high value tailored solutions for clients

Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise (detailed knowledge in multiple of the following is a plus) -

• Wireless Tools: RF Design Tools, Automatic Cell Planning Tools, RF Optimization Tools
• Vendor RAN Equipment: OSS Tools, Parameters, and Counters

• Wireless Air Interface Technologies: GPRS, EDGE, EV-DO, UMTS, HSPA, HSPA+, WiMAX, LTE

• Mindset –

• Experience –

o At least 5 years related experience:
 Design or testing of wireless network products
 Technology development and planning for a wireless service provider
 Wireless standards engineer for wireless manufacturer or service provider
o Previous training experience helpful but not required

• Education –

o BS in Computer Science or Engineering
o MS or Ph. D. preferred and may be considered with less than 5 years experience
