Senior Cosultant - Wireless Techonology Trainer (Contract Position) - Award Solutions, Inc.

Position Description

Award Solutions’ mission is to help clients improve the performance of their people, products, and networks. We are the leading independent provider of knowledge services to the North American wireless industry and we are rapidly expanding into Europe and Asia.

We have an immediate need for a Senior Consultant to develop and deliver new solutions for our clients. In this role you will have a chance to learn leading edge wireless technologies as you prepare and deliver solutions to the top players in the wireless industry. The ideal candidate will be have experience teaching detailed technology courses on at least one 3G technology and have a passion for helping individuals and organizations through technology transitions. You will work with an elite team of industry veterans in a world class organization and will be recognized as an expert in your field.

Responsibilities:

• Training
o Become a true expert on new topics in preparation for delivering training solutions
o Deliver industry leading technology training classes at client facilities, in public forums, and online
• Research
o Stay abreast of market developments and ensure that we and our clients are prepared

Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise (detailed knowledge in multiple of the following is a plus) -

• Wireless Air Interface Standards: GPRS, EDGE, EV-DO, UMTS, HSPA, HSPA+, WiMAX, LTE
• Wireless Core Networks: GSM-MAP, IS-41, IMS
• IP Telephony: SIP, Megaco, MGCP,
• Data Communications: ATM, MPLS, TCP/IP, QoS, Security, VPNs, Routing, Switching

• Experience –

o At least 5 years related experience:
 Design or testing of wireless network products for an equipment vendor
 Technology development or planning for a wireless service provider
 Wireless standards engineer for wireless manufacturer or service provider
o Previous training experience required

• Education –

o BS in Computer Science or Engineering
o MS or Ph. D. preferred and may be considered with less than 5 years experience
