Position Description

Primary Tasks & Duties • Perform Sales Support to land custom training opportunities
• Work with customers to understand requirements and propose solutions
• Work with customers to capture documents, procedures, screen shots, & other components for inclusion in training materials
• Design comprehensive trainings (classroom | CBT) to match customer requirements
• Following detailed design & customer inputs to develop custom training
• Scope projects & perform internal & external project management
• Perform telecom \ technical consulting

Required Knowledge
Skills &
Abilities • Significant technical knowledge (protocol level) in one of these areas (RF, Radio Access Networks, WiMAX, telecom switching, SS7, IP, VoIP…)
• Sales Engineer / Sales Support / Product Line Management experience
• Telecom Consulting experience
• Experience creating practical training for graphical user interfaces
• Project Management
• Excellent grammar, written communication and inter-personal communication skills
• Bachelors Degree or better in a technical field (CS, EE…)
Expected:
Experience Level • 3-5 years Sales Support / Sales Engineering
• 4-5 years Technical Consulting
• 4-6 years in an Engineering position
Desired
• 7-10 years R&D Development Experience
• 3-5 years wireless telecom preferred
• 1-3 years training creation tools experience

Custom Solutions Architect
Job Purpose: Work with customers to clearly understand requirements, and then, using these requirements and customer expectations, design and develop custom training.

Responsibilities: Starting with the sales effort, the SA is expected to participate in the sales process and solution shaping from the start. The SA will be required to gather information from perspective customers to design custom training. This involves gathering all documents, processes, screen shots, or other related information required to design and develop the training. The SA will be responsible to scope projects, create a project timeline, manage customers, and manage internal delivery related to training production.
The SA will need to work with customers both on their facilities and remotely to gather information, capture needs, perform reviews and perform any other tasks related to training development and getting customer signoff.
The SA might be responsible for planning and delivering instructor-led training.

Candidate Requirements; Applicants for this position should possess significant experience in telecom networks, protocols, and services. This is inclusive for voice and packet network related services including Next Generation Networks. A technically deep knowledge of protocols or technology is a must.
Applicants should have minimum 3 years as an individual contributor in the role of Sales Support or Consultant who has been involved in business development.
We desire candidates to be familiar with multiple computing environments and technologies. At a minimum, applicants should have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent, demonstrate effective communication skills in small and large groups and pass a background investigation.
