Position Description

Young, cutting edge telecommunications company needs experienced, strategic “hunters” to work virtually. These executives will identify and maximize sales opportunities for the firm in the marketplace through indepth understanding of the firm’s products and their most effective positioning.

Develop in-depth large and major account strategies for targeted customers in order to aggressively drive new sales.

Generate new business in assigned territories through prospecting, cold calling, networking and generating leads.

Qualifies prospective new clients and current customers’ potential needs and overall interests using targeted cold calling and lead generation sources.

Meet monthly sales goals and revenue quotas. Implement annual/quarterly/ monthly sales goals/objectives developed in conjunction with the Senior Vice President, Sales.

Performs sales presentations to match company products with identified needs.

Increase sales volume, market share, profitably and customer satisfaction.

Develop, manage and enhance business-to-business accounts by maintaining relationships and partnering with key decision-makers within the client organization and the firm.

Provide existing customers with the highest standard of customer service.

Seeks to create additional revenue generating opportunities within existing client base in the form of upgrades, additional licenses, add-on sales and cross-sales opportunities for products and services.

The ideal candidate must possess a broad understanding of voice and data technologies. 3-5 years of successful sales experience in telecommunication products/services with significant experience selling to major carrier accounts is required.

Ideal candidates should have a proven record of success exceeding annual sales goals with the ability to identify key decision makers and build strong relationships.

Previous prospecting, excellent presentation skills and strong closing techniques are a requirement.
