Position Description
Position Summary:
The Senior Marketing Manager will manage a team responsible for online and mobile marketing programs with an emphasis in merchandising, data analysis, and content management. As a member of the marketing team, this individual will own specific platforms and categories for our Handango and Partner storefronts. The Marketing Associate should have excellent communication and analytical skills, a high attention to detail and be a creative thinker. The candidate must be able to operate independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities:
•Responsible for the team that presents our merchandise and marketing programs on the web for Handango U.S. and partners
•Execute daily, weekly and monthly online and mobile merchandising programs
•Business owner of on-site search and web site taxonomy
•Works closely with team to understand key customer segments and goals so that CRM strategies can be executed on site to achieve such goals
•Support Business Development team and Channel Marketing Manager in recommending content for opportunities
•Analyze statistics and prepare merchandising reports
•Serve as a company expert on smartphone platforms and content categories
Latitude or Decision-Making:
This position is given the authority to manage key online and mobile revenue generating areas, own reporting duties, and develop strategies for enhancing Handango and Partner stores. The decisions made by this position have an impact to the business from a customer acquisition and retention perspective.
Minimum Job Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related area
•4-6 years experience in online marketing
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
•Solid understanding of online customer behavior
•Solid data evaluation skills with ability to extract and interpret data from various sources to offer creative marketing and product solutions
•Ability to develop working relationships with internal peers and external partners
•Stellar organization and prioritization skills
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop
•Team player
Preferred Job Qualifications:
•Dot com marketing experience, and particularly, merchandising experience
•Proficiency with Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, ImageReady and other design programs
•Basic design and intermediate copywriting experience
•Experience in the wireless, smartphone, mobile computing industry
