Key Responsibilities:

* Develop new and enhance existing applications targeting a variety of wireless platforms, including J2ME, BREW, WAP and Flash.
* Support and enhance systems for user subscription management, messaging and integration with 3rd party billing systems.
* Integrate with feeds and APIs from numerous content partners
* Practice test driven development, continuous integration, refactoring, and iterative development

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent software development experience
* 3+ years experience in software development
* Strong communication skills and ability to perform effectively in a demanding, team oriented environment
* Experience with an on-line, database driven or transaction oriented site
* Java programming. C or C++ a plus
* SQL database experience
* Linux proficiency
* Proficiency in Object Oriented Design
* Knowledge of SDLC (software development life cycle)
* Proficient in use of contemporary source code management systems including Subversion and CVS
* Familiar with mobile device and/or mobile messaging (J2ME, BREW, WAP, SMS, MMS, etc.) is preferred.
* Experience with content management systems is preferred.
* Experience working in an environment that practices agile development is necessary.
