Job Description:

Purpose of this role is to work across the development and production of a number of mobile game projects that will be developed by 3rd Party Developers and Porting Companies. The producer will be working within a small team and will responsible for maintaining the high game play and quality standards that our client is famous for. The role will involve working with some of the industries best know brands, so the position carriers a great amount of responsibility.

Pre-production

Will be required to assist in the development of concept documents as part of the initial pre-production work for internal and 3rd party approval.

Production

The role requires involvement in every aspect of the production process. Produce and validate design documents and be part of the green light sigh off process. Work with the development company during all phases of development to make sure that the project remains on track and that any technical or design issues are resolved. Regular reporting of progress to the management team, highlighting any issues and ramifications. Finally manage the successful porting of each game from reference build to the minimum handset coverage requirments.

Responsibilities:

•Produce and review game and technical designs
•Define schedules with Development and Porting Companies and make sure that all defined milestones are met to the required quality and schedule
•Become the main point of contact with external development companies
•Work with Sales team and Deployment departments to maximize device coverage for games in development
•Regular updates to sales and marketing departments for products under the producers direct control.
Key Skills:

Your ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally, is a key to getting this job right. You will also act as a bridge between certain company divisions.

•2-5 years experience at professional level
•Excellent knowledge of Carriers, Devices and development platforms
•A desire to understand an audience, including usability and accessibility of the product
•Excellent teamwork and communication skills
•An understanding of project budgets and the process of managing change
•An appreciation of design and technical development issues
•Strong understanding of working within project environments and associated processes

You may be required to visit Development companies in the UK and Overseas from time to time
