Position Description

The Business Integrated Services Development Manager will have responsibility for managing the development of a portfolio of cross-product (voice, Internet, wireless) integrated applications. Commercial applications will include advanced voice features, mobile PBX dialing, integrated/unified messaging, seamless mobility applications, data back-up and restore, portal controls and integration of services with other non-voice applications. Responsibility extends to defining product requirements, managing the development process, and coordinating with external and internal organizations to define and effectively communicate direction and status of planned initiatives. Additionally, this position will work collaboratively with the Cox Business voice, Internet, and wireless teams in the strategic planning and voice/Internet services roadmap development. This position will interface with vendor and partners on a regular basis.

Position Responsibilities:

Will work collaboratively to define project scope, create product requirements, manage development, and allocate the necessary resources for the successful completion of each project within budget and timelines.
Negotiation skills will be highly leveraged in driving to consensus on product scope, definition, development and implementation activities.
Ability to participate in, lead, motivate and manage large cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
Create or oversee the creation of various product deliverables, product roadmaps, product scope and definition documents, product requirements, project plans, status reports, etc.
Develop/refine and present product business cases to decision makers Represent the company on assigned strategic initiatives Participate in Product Development budgeting and strategic planning activities.
Research and understand primary customer needs, cost/benefit trade-offs of various implementation options, and translate into functional product descriptions Possess strong planning capabilities, communications skills, presentation skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to effectively influence internal team members through consensus building and ability to get results through others.
Ability to manage multiple, large to very large-scale projects at one time.
Strong initiative and the ability to drive and oversee the development projects to completion with limited supervision.

Qualifications:
BS, BA or BE degree required, MBA is preferred
5 years of Product Management/Development or Program Management experience in Wireless or Wireline Industry.
2 experience with integrated services and application development activities.
Solid working knowledge of the wireless and wireline telecommunications industry Significant experience in managing wireline or wireless voice product development activities Knowledge of IMS applications and architectures is a plus.
Significant Experience with VoIP (SIP) and enhanced Internet applications Experience interfacing effectively with external vendors/partners and industry peers required.
Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives, programs and projects at one time.
Capacity for strategic thinking and business development.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
