About the company:

Our client launched in February 2006 and is the UK’s leading mobile advertising agency. The company helps mobile operators including Hutchinson 3 and WAP publisher’s including ITV Mobile and Ministry of Sound to monetise traffic to their portals through mobile advertising. They provide a single point of contact for media agencies, and brands, wishing to buy advertising inventory across a range of mobile internet sites. Their in-house creative, technological and dedicated account management teams provide advice and solutions to help publishers and brands optimise opportunities in mobile advertising. Our client has been expanding and their turnover for 2005 – 2006 was £22m and turnover for 2006 – 2007 is expected to reach in excess of £30m.

Background:

As a result of continued commercial success and a significant growth in the mobile advertising market our client is now seeking an Agency Sales Manager to grow the business. This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK’s market leader in mobile advertising and be part of shaping a new but potentially significant advertising channel. Global spend on mobile advertising is set to reach $11 billion in 3 years time – be part of this phenomenal growth market!

Responsibilities:

-Selling mobile advertising inventory on behalf of leading WAP publishers such as ITV and Three into key UK media agencies
-Educate and Build the market for mobile advertising
-Recruit sales team to support growth
-Develop International agency sales network
-Establish relationships with key target customers


This is an incredibly exciting role in what is one of the fastest growing digital sectors in the UK. The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for a significant part of the group’s turnover and profitability.

Skills:

-5-10 years agency sales ( at least 3 years online)
-Track Record for hitting targets
-Key Agency relationships and market understanding
-Strategic approach to sales
-Great reputation in the industry
-Ability to hit the ground running
