WebSphere Architect - Valiant Technology Group

Position Description

Our client is looking for a CTH Websphere Architect.

Summary:

An experienced software Java/J2EE/WebSphere architect with minimum 5 years experience in Java/J2EE environment with minimum 2 years most recent hands on experience to implement and support implementation of WAS versions 6 or 5 and supporting IBM applications
Requirements, Skills, and Experience:

Experience with WebSphere server environment and n-tier web applications
Experience with guiding and mentoring developers in WebSphere environment
Experience with developing architecture models and design patterns.
Experience with OOAD methodology and design and implementation of SOA
Conduct internal design reviews and code reviews
Design and develop portlets using Java, JSP, HTML and JavaScript
Design and develop business logic with EJB3
Design and implement XML transformations using XML, XSL and XSLT
Configure WebSphere Portal 5/6 and LDAP system
RUP or similar iterative development process
Use Case utilizing UML
HTML/CSS/JavaScript/JSP/XML/XSL/XSLT
Experience with Struts, Hibernate, and/or Spring
Strong SQL and data processing experience
Experience in DB2 or Oracle
