Job Description: The person in this position is responsible to work as part of the CABS billing team providing support and maintaining key system functionality for Carrier Access Billing System and perform activites supporting Revenue Assurance and CABS Billing. This includes conducting database to database reconciliations, complex analysis, analyzing business process and recommending improvement to increase recongnition of revenue and risk avoidance. The Applications Support Analyst assists in determining the root cause of potential billing anomalies. This requires extensive knowledge of the technical aspects of the billing systems, as well as a strong working knowledge and understanding of the business processes utilized by Engineering. This also involves fostering productive relationships with other departments within the compnay. Analysis of monthly revenue and explanation of major variance is an integral component as well. Summary of Duties: Manage the CDR Error Processing System (EPS); Maintain CABS table updates that might include, but are not limited to, the addition of new switches, new carriers, new prefixes, lerg tables, etc.
� Perform reconciliation, monitoring, process documentation, and analysis of key processes and systems.
� Ensure that processes are documented, and accurately reported.
� Support ongoing development and validation of business rules and operational processeswhile ensuring the impacts to other processes are considered.
� Analyze financial and/or operational information; assist in translating information into meaningful feedback for departments with recommendations for improvement aimed at maximizing revenues or operating efficiencies.
� Perform root cause analysis on usage and/or financial trends.
� Manage identified revenue risks, leakages, and investigate root-cause. Implement preventive measures in a timely manner.
� Analyzes billing errors and makes or negotiates error corrections.
� Performs complex Access Billing Revenue Analysis and resolves complex CABS disputes.
� Provide Subject Matter Expertise in a core functional Application Support Discipline (Message Processing, Mediations, Provisioning, Billing, Payment Processing, etc.)Communications and Support
� Guide and support other team members, both inside and outside Engineering, with resolutions to problems encountered with procedures and processes.
� Establish strong relationships and communications networks with involved departments, internal and external, to ensure the flow of information necessary to process Carrier invoices.General
� Ensure that all work is performed within the department�s deadlines.
� Provide input for the development of departmental processes and support T-Mobile�s policies and procedures.
� Support the growth and development of the company and its support systems by working on special projects.
� Perform other duties as assigned.

SQL querying skills. At least 2 years of PL/SQL.
� 4-6 years experience in application administration, in a technical environment.
� 6 years telecommunications experience, specifically possessing technical knowledge of telephony switching, telephony billing processes, telephony network elements and call detail records.
� Excellent computer/keyboard skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and Access or other database software.
� Ability to Multi-task and prioritize duties with respect to business needs.
� Professional business communications skills, both written and verbal.
� Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
� 4 year degree with a concentration in Business, Accounting, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
