We currently have an opportunity for a Telephony Channel Account Manager based in our Salt Lake City office.

REPORTS TO: Senior Director Telephony Sales

JOB SUMMARY
The primary role of the Telephony Channel Account Manager is to meet or exceed sales objectives by successfully supporting the channel partners and Telephony Sales Manager. This position supports the sales department through direct interaction with channel partners by strengthening partner relationships, increasing product awareness, driving channel sales and gaining market share.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage existing channel partner and recruit new channel partners in selected market sectors. Provide onsite product and application training with dealers and distribution partners. Execute detailed channel programs for distributors and dealers to meet sales objectives and implement all aspects of partner programs. Work closely with Telephony sales and marketing to ensure collaborative and flawless channel partner sales support and program execution. Accurately forecast and maintain sales funnel.
Consistent and regular communication with management of all issues and opportunities in the territory
Timely and consistent submission to management of call reports, sales plans and forecasts as requested
This position requires extensive travel (up to 70%) to implement and manage reseller programs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Position requires a minimum of 3 years successful sales experience with emphasis in account management in the field of technology or telecommunications. BS/BA in Business or Technology is preferred. Experience selling through 2 tier distribution is a plus. The ideal candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter and possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop successful working relationships. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, proposal-writing and presentation software are required.
