We currently have an opportunity for a Telephony Sales Manager. This position will work remotely from anywhere in the United States.

REPORTS TO: Senior Director Telephony Sales

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

•Utilizing ClearOne’s Telephony sales strategy, build a territory plan designed to exceed revenue and sales objectives
•Strong product and application knowledge of all ClearOne’s telephony products
•Ability to demonstrate and install tabletop products
•Keen awareness of market trends influencing sale of ClearOne’s telephony products
•Knowledge and expertise with ClearOne’s channel programs and end user promotions
•Establish quarterly revenue objectives and sales plans necessary to achieve them with assigned channel sales partners.
•Work with targeted end user prospects at the highest decision making levels and bring these opportunities to a close in conjunction with the channel partner
•Accurate forecasting and maintenance of sales funnel
•Consistent and regular communication with management of all issues and opportunities in the territory
•Timely and consistent submission to management of call reports, sales plans and forecasts as requested
•Provide product, application and sales training to key channel partners
•Work closely with inside sales rep to develop and close end user and reseller opportunities
•Extensive travel is required (50% – 60%)
•Assure that ClearOne’s core products are the preferred choice of the sales organizations of those assigned channel partners
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 5 years high achievement consultative sales experience with emphasis in major account selling, as well sales experience through channel partners in the field of technology or telecommunications is required. Desired telecommunications experience will include Avaya, Cisco, Nortel, or other leading PBX manufacturer channel. Experience selling and thorough knowledge of the following technologies is preferred – VoIP technology, SIP, codec specififications, carrier network management technologies. Knowledge must include the ability to describe voice networks, VoIP and other voice transport technologies, applications and equipment. Must possess a strong knowledge of sales cycle with the ability to make presentations and lead custmer discussion to advance the sales process. Must be a highly motivated self-starter and possess excellent interpersonal skills, along with the ability to develop successful working relationships. Must be people-oriented, eager to win and a master of the sales process. Excellent communication skills and a successful track record within a sales organization are required. Proficiency with data management software and MicroSoft Office Suite products is required. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or Technology is required.
