We currently have an opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative. This position is based in our Salt Lake City office.

REPORTS TO: Inside Sales Manager

The primary role of the Inside Sales Representative is to meet or exceed sales objectives by successfully supporting the ClearOne Field Sales and FSE team. This position supports the sales team through direct interaction with customers by handling incoming calls, quotation requests and orders as well as directed support by the sales team.

JOB FUNCTIONS

•Responsible for out-bound sales calls, inbound ACD and direct calls, lead generation and is the main point of contact for dealers, distributors and rep firms in given territory
•Plan and execute selling strategy with Regional Sales Manager or individually
•Manage existing dealer base and consultative sell to end-users to provide lead generation for dealers
•Utilize Customer Relations Database to organize, manage and provide reporting
•Provide proactive remote customer support, selling, training for existing and new customers
•Work with customer service and other internal groups to resolve customer issues
•Proactively up-sell additional products to existing customers to generate additional revenue
•Available for three to six trips per year into territory for dealer meetings
•In-depth knowledge of all ClearOne products

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 4 years high achievement sales experience with emphasis in account management in the field of technology or telecommunications is encouraged. Experience selling in a 2-tier distribution model is preferred. BS/BA in Business or Technology is preferred. Must be comfortable with the inside sales role and possess the ability to produce targeted number of calls (30-40) per day, execute, manage and track follow-up with customers. Strong customer service skills and the ablity to connect with customers over the phone are essential. The ideal candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter and possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop successful working relationships. AV experience a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, proposal-writing and presentation software are required.
