Position Description
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading Mobile Games provider and they are looking for Product marketing Manager to join their growing team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•Degree in business or marketing related subject
•4-5 years work experience in product / consumer marketing
•Games industry experience / mobile /online is preferred
•Good understanding of digital marketing
•Desk Top Publishing skills desirable
•Experience working internal and external clients
•First class communication skills
•Self-starter with a high degree of enthusiasm and commitment
•Results driven and team player with a “can do” attitude
•A second European language would be preferable
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
•To conceive, create and implement marketing plan for European carriers
•To be in charge with mobile games products and taking them to the market
Product marketing:
•Work with Marketing team to create product information and carrier submission documentation for European customers that clearly defines products on roadmap, on strategy and on licensors brand within a specified time frame
•To provide marketing input to European production teams from concept to release with particular emphasis on defining game features and USP’s to allow for maximum differentiation of our products in the market
•To evaluate and report on product in the market and its associated communication in the market including competitor product analysis
•To leverage licencing opportunities
•Develop game assets/collateral that define our products to internal and external partners
•Create “world class” carrier and co-marketing product pitches and roadmap presentations with product marketing and development teams.
•Assist in the creation of robust sales tools, collateral and training to ensure the sales force is adequately prepared for product deployments in a timely fashion
•To create PR marketing package
•To contribute to the development of strategies and processes that continually improve global product
COMMUNICATIONS AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Internal:
•All marketing team members especially creative resources, regional marketing directors: –work as part of global marketing team
•Follow marketing briefs and write creative briefs
•Game producers: input on product development from concept to release; work with production teams to create best in class game marketing assets and materials
•Global sales team: support sales / account managers to deal with customers’ product marketing queries
•Web team: work with technical teams to deliver online projects
External:
•Suppliers to marketing department especially creative agencies: negotiate project costs with suppliers for creative and marketing services, brief and traffic creative work
