Position Description

Fast-paced telecommunications company in McLean, VA is expanding and is looking for a NETWORK MANAGER (CISCO VOICE ENGINEER) to be part of their team!
Qualified candidates must have a current CCVP, CCIE or CCNP.
♦This position is responsible for the following:
Daily operations and maintenance of VOIP and MPLS network.
♦Conduct detailed data collections with the customer to determine Cisco IP phone needs and equipment needed.
♦Assist sales staff with providing technical design.
♦Work closely with the cabling vendors to ensure all work is completed accurately and on time.
♦Work closely with the VoIP installers to ensure that all work and training is completed accurately and on time.
♦Ensure all tasks are completed to customer satisfaction.
♦Document the entire project and provide a handoff package to the customer as well as other internal personnel.
♦Work with support personnel on maintenance issues.
♦Work with customer to develop an ongoing VoIP design.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

♦ Project management skills.
♦ Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight time restrictions.
♦ Able to troubleshoot and administer hosted IP PBX. (GENBAND M6)
♦ Must be familiar with many types of circuits (POTS, PRI, T carrier, DID)
♦ Must be able to configure multiple types of voice gateways(MGCP, H.323, SIP)
