Position Description
Consultants / Senior Consultants
Location: Toronto

Candidates must be willing and able to travel domestically up to 100% M-F, when necessary. We prefer to hire local residents; however we are open to relocation to Toronto.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
• Assist the Project Lead in the management and delivery of strategy projects as well as implementation projects.
• Maintain close client contact to deliver high quality advice, build relationships and initiate sales.
• Create business plans and models, marketing strategies and studies, distribution and supply chain metrics and project/implementation plans.
• Provide subject matter expertise to clients as well as the rest of VeriSign; the candidate will drive development and learning within VeriSign.
• Lead client projects
Qualifications:
• 4+ years wireless, IT, high tech industry, and/or consulting services
• 2+years working on teams to provide project management to customers in wireless, telecommunications, managed services, financial modeling, business planning, market research or related fields
• Expertise in CDMA, HSPA, iDEN, Backhaul, access, transport, switching, WiMAX, 3G, 4G, mobile content and services, and / or convergence.
• Expertise in one or more of the following areas: security, managed services, identity management, authentication, messaging, content delivery, billing, mobile commerce
• Ability to supervise a small team
• Proficiency using MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong writing, presentation and problem solving skills
• Bachelor degree; economics, business or finance majors preferred, EE, CS,CE degree a plus
• MBA with a GPA of 3.3+
