Position Description

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Regional telecommunications company seeking Chief Financial Officer to report to the CEO. CFO will be responsible for all aspects of financial management and capital structure for this wireless service company. In order to be successful, the CFO must:

· Understand and execute a strategy for the best capitalization of the Company.
· Work as a strategic partner with the CEO to address disciplines in costs and creativity in revenue, strategic growth, and expansion of relationships with potential and existing markets.
· Facilitate flawless Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
· Develop and maintain relationships and transparency with equity, bond and debt markets and agencies.
· Take charge of the financial and reporting aspects of the Company and be capable of supporting the regulatory imperatives of a wireless communications business.
· Oversee the financial policies, procedures and processes of the Company and its interfaces with internal and external constituents.
· Create timely, accurate and useful information, performance metrics, and reporting for management and investors.

Requirements include 10 – 15 years minimum experience, a financial undergraduate degree with an M.B.A. preferred. A C.P.A. is a strong plus. The CFO must have a solid track record of driving successful growth and capitalization structures. Will have experience with a growth and consumer oriented product and service organization and can work with and think like an entrepreneur. A track record of identifying, executing and integrating financing alternatives is critical.
