What you’ll be doing:
We are looking for someone who strives to create useful, usable, and (most of all) secure software: we believe in well-designed APIs, automated testing, and all sorts of other things to make sure we can focus on the big problems and not deal with implementation headaches. You will be part of an agile team that works on short development sprints and incorporates lots of user feedback. We are at the lowest levels of the system, so a superb grasp of C is a must.
We strive for great user experiences, so experience developing great user interfaces is a definite plus.
It would be great if you have experience developing security products or simply dream of security problems/solutions/algorithms at night (as we do). You will also be surrounded by kernel-ness, so it will really help if you have a good understanding of operating system internals, drivers, hooking, and all that jazz.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help build cross-platform mobile software with high-speed, healthy development practices
- Figure out how to do things on mobile devices that are not documented, anywhere
- Make a product users love
Requirements:
- Superb software development abilities (C/C++, definitely, but we also appreciate the power of great generalists)
- Understanding of how to develop secure software
- Strong aversion to spaghetti code(Linguini code is acceptable)
Bonus Points:
- Experience developing drivers and working with operating system internals
- Experience launching products
- Experience developing security software
- Understanding of wired and wireless networking protocols
- Statistical analysis experience
- Experience making really, really, ridiculously intuitive and beautiful user interfaces
