Our client is one of the leading mobile marketing providers in Europe, working with some of the world’s top brands, including Coca Cola, Disney, Nike, Ford and Johnson & Johnson to name but a few. Headquartered in Berlin, the company also has 8 offices across Europe.
The company is enjoying huge success in Europe and its rapid growth has led to many exciting opportunities within the company. With recent new business wins and the planned expansion of the UK business, they are searching for a strong mobile marketing and advertising sales person to come in and win new business.
The company helps brands and organisations integrate the mobile phone into the marketing mix using innovative technology and informed made-to-measure mobile marketing concepts. These concepts allow companies to increase sales and awareness, lead the consumer to the point of sale, generate dialogue-marketing contacts or enable customer loyalty programs. On one hand our client encompasses the conception, creation and evaluation of complete mobile marketing campaigns. On the other hand, the technical implementation of cross media concepts and the cross linking of employed communication channels as well. The technological in-house implementation is ground breaking. Use of the latest technologies and creative content ensures the success of campaigns implemented by our client.
The company runs mobile advertising campaigns for its clients on a Pan-European basis and are actively signing publishers as part of the expansion of the ad-network in the UK. The inventory generated from the publishers is sold to advertisers and existing marketing clients of the company.

Business Development Manager – Mobile Marketing and Advertising
The role is a sales role, reporting to the UK Country Manager and UK Head of Sales. You will be responsible for selling mobile marketing services and advertising inventory to clients and agencies based in the UK, for UK and/or European or global campaigns. You will have experience of selling mobile marketing campaigns and mobile advertising inventory. Ideally this will be your present role, where you are looking to move to one of Europe’s leading players. As a self starter, you will be able to hit the ground running and be able to generate revenue from an early point.
You will need strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to think on your feet. We are looking for a proactive and independent character, happy working both in a team and independently.

Key tasks

- Ability to identify relevant and potential customers that will meet our commercial objectives
- Develop and plan propositions and pricing for potential commercial partners
- Sell, negotiate and close deals
- Liaising with technical department
- Research
- Assist in the creation of presentations
- Represent the business in presentations, sales meetings and client meetings
- Manage relationships with clients and agencies
- Stay at the forefront of developments in the mobile commercial environment
- Achieve monthly and annual sales and revenue targets

The Candidate

- Have a strong sales and business development background in mobile marketing
- Ideally currently working in a mobile marketing environment
- Have a proven track record of face to face sales
- Have experience of dealing with contracts
- Be a confident communicator
- Have strong telephone sales approach
- Have strong presentation skills
- Proactive
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- High competency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Have industry contacts
- Be hands-on and happy to work as part of an expanding team
