Our client is the world’s No. 1 company in mobile entertainment, has an opening within the Global Content & Licensing Team. They are trendsetting, independent mobile media and technology company driving the burgeoning mobile phone entertainment and personalization industry. They have 38 offices, business in 53 countries, direct connections to more than 100 telephone carriers throughout the world, and access to over 2 billion mobile users.
Based in London office, the Music Product Manager will set the global strategy for all types of music contents and coordinate with the company’s products and marketing teams to successfully place the company as the market leader.
Responsibilities of the Entertainment Product Manager include:
• Define the content strategy in conjunction with the licensing team, local sales teams, and our client’s content partners
• Drive growth in revenues and market share through aggressive execution of the content strategy with content production teams and local sales team
• Actively contribute to the strategic direction of our client’s music services, including new service concepts, licensing models, and products
• Manage the ongoing relationship with major music labels and independent content providers at the global level
• Coordinating with data analysis team to define analysis requirements and effectively incorporate findings into product strategy
• Support sales teams in regular client meetings regarding mobile content services & products
Personal Requirements:
• Dynamic, innovative, solution-oriented and diligent individual
• Ability to multi-task and achieve results well in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable to work both independently and within a team
• Min 4 years experience in product management/marketing in digital music, preferably for mobile services
• Strong understanding of music industry operations and strong contacts in this field
• Knowledge of a 2nd language a plus
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
• Flexibility to work extended hours (as required)
• Ability to travel (domestic and international)
• UK citizenship or work permit
