Product Manager - ZyXEL Communications, Inc.

Position Description

Our Product Management team is seeking individual who is willing to grow with ZyXEL in new product and integrated solutions marketing for broadband products, such as xDSL modems/routers, cable CPEs, VoIP, IP DSLAM, IPTV, and FTTX (GEPON and GPON).

Primary Job Functions:

•Manages broadband products from their planning to EOL through the life-cycle.
•Executes on product strategy and supports sales/marketing teams for the goals.
•Establishes product roadmap from market research and sets competitive pricing.
•Leads product rollout efforts by visiting the key accounts to presents solutions.
•Assesses needs and opportunities for products and initiates PRD for R&D teams.
•Supports marketing events (i.e. shows or press release) to promote the products.
•Oversees the product forecast for a demand assessment accuracy and inventory.
•Coordinates engineering team to resolve product issues for customer satisfaction.
•Responds to the product or technical sections from the key account RFI/RFQ/RFP.
•Communicates with the chipset/software solution vendors and the OEMs/ODMs.
•Creates content for sales/marketing materials and trains others on the products.
•Achieves market share and financial (i.e. revenue and profit margin) objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

•3+ year product/project management experiences in network industry required.
•Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE required; MBA degree or PMP certified will be a plus.
•Experience in broadband (xDSL/DOCSIS/PON), IPTV, and IP DSLAM preferred.
•Microsoft Office proficient with the experience for responding RFI/RFP/RFQ.
•Strong verbal and written communication with excellent presentation skills.
•Must be open to travel, self-motivated, organized, with a winner attitude.
