Sr. Mobile Client Engineer

Voltage Security is looking for a talented software engineer to bring the security and ease of Voltage encryption products to mobile platforms. Join a creative team dedicated to providing solutions for the world’s largest companies to keep their sensitive information secure

Career Summary:

Become a key member of the Voltage Software Engineering team, providing expert practical knowledge developing applications for mobile platforms. Responsibilities will include spearheading the development effort for an encryption client on Blackberry and iPhone.

Requirements:

•5+ years experience in software development.
•Strong object oriented programming and design skills.
•Demonstrated experience in C, C++ or Java.
•Design and development experience in one or more of the following mobile client environments: RIM, J2ME or Windows Mobile.
•Interest in bringing leading-edge usable security to mobile platforms.
•Practical knowledge of web service technologies: Representational State Transfer (REST), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Service Orientated Architectures (SOA).
•Expert knowledge of fundamental data structures and algorithms.
•Desire and ability to learn new technologies quickly and regularly.
•Passionate about software and assertive about product quality.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Flexible team player who is self motivated and pro-active.


Education: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree in a related field.

Additional desirable experience includes:

•Development experience at the application and user interface level with at least one of the following: Mac OS or Win32.
•Practical knowledge of Windows software development technologies: Component Object Model (COM), Active Template Library (ATL), Windows Template Library (WTL), .NET Framework.
•Practical knowledge of web application technologies: multi-tier web applications and business-layer/model-layer architectures, J2EE, HTML, XML, XSLT.
•Exposure to high-level languages: Perl, Python, Ruby.
•General understanding of math-based security concepts: Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Identity-Based Encryption (IBE).
