SUMMARY:

Due to our continued growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available opportunity for a Electrical Engineer III in our Wireless Network Solutions Group located in Richardson, Texas.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Performs RF/Wireless engineering assignments that typically involve the design, development, evaluation, modification and analysis techniques resulting in optimum system design solutions for the end customer.
• Conducts site surveys and prepares RF link budgets. Prepares technical documentation for submission; Performance will be measured in terms of quality and timeliness of submission.
• Supports proposal and project activities including preparation of technical documentation for submissions. Supports technical presentations and customer interface.
• Responsible for execution of system/product commissioning and testing.
• Assignments typically are designed to further develop professional work knowledge and abilities.
• Design of coverage solutions for buildings, road tunnels, subways, and outdoor systems
• Preparation of technical documentations for proposals and projects.
• Conducting site survey and coverage testing
TYPES OF DECISIONS:
• Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
• Assignments have clear and specific objectives.
• Develops own resources to solve problems and provides imaginative solutions to a variety of moderately complex problems.
• Assumes responsibility for a definable portion of the project.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
• Possible travel to project and customer locations; up to 35% depending on size and complexity of the project.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BSEE or related four (4) year technical degree with coursework in RF Theory
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of work experience in the RF design field
• Able to effectively work on project teams consisting of departmental and/or cross-functional personnel
• Good time management skills
• Must possess good oral and written skills
