Staff Engineer, SIV - InterDigital Communications LLC

Position Description

Responsibilities:

-Engage in system integration & testing on Dual Mode 2G(GSM/GPRS /EDGE)and 3G(FDD)modem platform.
-Prepare and execute GCF conformance tests on BSE against modem platform, and debug /resolve system level defects.
-File problem reports and track to resolution.
-Work with software team to troubleshoot and isolate system defects.

Create custom TTCN scripts based upon system level functional description.
Support IOT and field testing, including possible travel to vendor facilities.

Qualifications:

-BS/MS EE/Computer Science plus
5-7 years experience in 2G(GSM / GPRS/EDGE)and 3G(FDD)system integration on target platform.
-Experience with TTCN scripting language and execution of scripts on Base Station Emulators.
-Experience with GCF testing and script debugging.

-Ability to create TTCN scripts from scratch, based upon system level functional requirements.
—Ability to debug system level defects on a 3G target modem platform and drive problems to resolution and closure.
