YELLOWPAGES.COM is seeking a bright, self-motivated Product Manager of Mobile Applications to work within the mobile group at YELLOWPAGES.COM with a specific focus on developing mobile applications for J2ME, Android and other mobile platforms. We are seeking an individual who is excited about working in the fast-paced mobile local search space, with a passion for creating useful and engaging mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for managing all phases of product lifecycle from concept, development and launch, to maintenance and enhancements.
* Lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment, including client and server developers, QA, search, data, marketing, reporting, creative, web, human factors, customer service, legal, business development and content partners to plan and launch projects on time.
* Create and prioritize product requirements from internal stakeholder groups, market research, competitive analysis, usability studies, and user feedback ensuring products meet both internal and end user needs.
* Create and manage product documentation including use cases, requirements, roadmaps and backlog schedules.
* Work with information architects and usability experts to guide wireframes, application flows, and usability testing.
* Work with engineering teams to scope, spec, build and test products.
* Work with reporting team to identify metrics to validate the success of products.
* Work with business development and legal teams to target key content partners.
* Work with creative and web teams to create product benefit and support pages.
* Support marketing, PR, sales and customer service teams during lifecycle of product.
* Monitor and constantly improve product performance over time.
Qualifications:
* 3+ years experience in consumer-facing mobile or web product management.
* Excellent communication skills possessing the ability to lead and work with a variety of cross-functional teams.
* Experience working with engineering teams to scope, spec, build and test products.
* Exceptional project management skills; well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to set priorities, multi-task and stay on top of deliverables.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate feedback into recommendations and product requirements.
* Commitment to launching well-designed and executed products.
* Fast learner with a passion for emerging mobile and web 2.0 trends.
Education Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in business, market research, technology, or a related field.
MBA a strong plus.
