Job Title: Financial Analyst III

Due to our continued growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available opportunity for a Financial Analyst III located in Richardson, Texas.

General Summary:
Direct the financial affairs of the organization, prepares financial statements and reports in accordance to established financial policies and procedures. Uses broad financial analysis and business knowledge to identify financial issues and opportunities. Provides advisory capability and interpretation on all levels of financial activity.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze monthly results for accuracy and unusual items
- Develop explanations for fluctuations in financial statement for business review
- Decision support for all functions of Wireline management team (operations, quality, R&D, sales, product line).
- Interface with plant accounting to insure accuracy of financial statements and appropriate level of detail available for accurate analysis.
- Review results with Wireline management and ACCG group finance/management.
- Write up of formal explanations of monthly results

Forecasts
Assist in preparation of rolling 4 data and periodic P&L forecasts as required by corporate. Analyze and explain variances of forecasts to plan, current year results, and prior years.

Plan
- Coordinate in gathering of data from PLM, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Business Development, GDP, Procurement & Operations.
- Consolidate various plan inputs, analyze results and insure accuracy and alignment with plan goals.
- Develop Global Standard Cost by working with Contract Manufacturing organization and Manufacturing locations
- Ensure final plan is in SAP and tied out to the corporate submission – December
- Gather capital budgets and PIPs

Business Support
Research & resolve non-routine business issues; Examples, Sales headcount, corp. directory corrections, accounting direction on various issues, Cabos team support, third party manufacturing etc.
Data gathering for special projects such as ROHS compliance or litigation support etc.
Provide financial support for business development team

Capital Analysis
Ensure capital is within plan throughout the year
Update future cost impact from capital decisions in forecast

Product Line Reviews
Develop financial slides for monthly PLR meetings
Attend non quarter PLR meeting and follow up on action items impacting Finance

Success Factors
Successful candidate will demonstrate:

5. Plans, organizes, and coordinates assigned programs to ensure accomplishment of financial/budgetary/strategic goals. Ability to efficiently manage time, resources, and budgets.
6. Must demonstrate deductive reasoning in anticipation of market trends and competitive strategies.
7. Strong intellect, with instinctive business skills.
8. Approximately 20% to 30% travel, mainly domestic.

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related discipline and minimum of 5 years of related experience with CPA preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Requires knowledge of accounting, financial planning and analysis and forecasting/budgeting, with ability to analyze business conditions.
- Must be proficient in Excel.
- Experience working with SAP is a plus.
- Must be self-motivated with effective time management skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required.
