Position Description
Leading Financial Services Company seeks
VP Channel Development for newly launched mobile commerce division. This person will form strategic relationships with technical providers/carriers who will facilitate purchasing power via a mobile device over a wireless communications network to achieve “tap and pay” transactions. Position is based in Southeastern US.
Requirements:
10+ years of business development/sales to Top Tier carriers.
Proven successes in wireless space and the ability to build on those relationships.
Drive, enthusiasm, presence, and personality to achieve goals.
Hands-on, but with the ability to build and motivate an effective sales team as warranted.
Big company experience and esprit de corps that will unify divisions and business lines to achieve goals.
Mobile devices sales experience is mandatory.
Financial services/payments experience desired.
Bachelor’s degree is necessary.
