Position Description
Salary circa £85k, plus bonus and benefits.
On behalf of a retained client, We are actively recruiting a Telecoms Spectrum Expert to develop and lead a specialist consulting service offering. The successful candidate will have significant experience within the Spectrum arena, either as qualified engineer or through senior regulatory position in major spectrum user or NRA.
Significant knowledge of general spectrum regulation theory and practice. Expert knowledge and demonstrable practical experience of the Regulatory, commercial or technical aspects of NGN, convergence and spectrum management, including market-based processes, perhaps including auction design for spectrum resource management.
A good understanding of EU and national regulatory institutions and current regulatory reform process, Good relationships with key figures in EC, NRAs and industry players, the potential to develop as industry-recognised ‘thought leader’ is key as well as a willingness to undertake international travel as and when required.
Home working is a viable option, so this role could if desired be based anywhere in Europe.
