The successful candidate would be responsible for:
- Responsible for overall supplier quality management of our US based Repair vendors.
- Performs ongoing onsite production and quality control audits.
- Assures compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards.
- Works closely with Repair vendors and cross functional Avaya business teams to review current test and inspection procedures and equipment across product portfolio.
- Makes recommendations for improvements based on data analysis reviews.
- Drives continuous improvement with the vendors using various quality based methodologies concerning Test yields, Looper yields, OBA yields, and DOA reduction initiatives.
- Analyzes reports and returned products, and issues corrective action requests.
- Ensures all corrective actions are closed and verified in a timely manner working with the vendors.
- Provides solutions to a divers range of complex problems

Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management.

Preferred Qualification:
Typically requires 5 – 8 years experience and a BS degree or equivalent experience in quality assurance and/or thorough knowledge of test and inspection methods in the design, fabrication, production, and repair of electronic equipment.
