Location: Philadelphia, PA

Director Product Management – Telecom Services
One of our top clients in the Philadelphia area is looking for several Directors of Product management for their Telecom Services group. Roles vary from Sr. manager level through to Sr. Director depending on experience. The ideal candidates will not only be experienced Product Managers, but have solid experience in the telecommunications environment (Wireless, CLEC, Cable, RBOC). You will be responsible for helping to define the product requirements from the various business units, writing them up, Matrix managing the project, and driving through the implementation. These individuals will also confirm that the product will tie back to the original defined need and is implemented as designed (QA). You will be responsible for multiple telecom products/features and should have a solid telecom background and also be technical. A typical scenario could be as follows:
Toll free service: (over simplified example).
Our client decided to roll out ‘800’ toll free service to the customer. Your role will be to define the requirements, socialize the idea throughout the various stake holders, and come up with a deployment plan. Work with the various business units (switching, provisioning, engineering, sales and operations) to get the required solution deployed.
The ideal candidates will have a consultative approach but will be drivers with the political savvy to work with all levels within the organization (Sr VP – Engineers)
